BuckleBridge Farm at dusk — tents across the meadow
Peaceful + Private

What to Bring

No shared facilities, no shared spaces — just ten acres of meadow and you. Everything for a comfortable stay is here; you only need to pack the essentials:

  • Towels
  • Charcoal for the BBQ
  • All food and drink for your stay
  • Cooking essentials — oil, salt, pepper, tea, coffee and any ingredients you need

Good news: our water comes straight from the mains and is perfectly safe to drink.

Bring the Dog

Dogs are always welcome at BuckleBridge Farm. With acres of countryside to explore, it's a wonderful place for both two-legged and four-legged guests.

We simply ask that dogs are kept under control around the site and that owners clean up after them, so everyone — and every dog — can enjoy the meadow.

What's Included

The Kitchen

Each accommodation has its own indoor kitchen, equipped with:

  • Gas hob
  • Fridge
  • Pots, pans and cooking utensils
  • Plates, bowls, glasses and cutlery

Outside there's a barrel BBQ for cooking under the sky, and for the fire we provide kindling, firelighters and a starter bag of logs — with extra seasoned firewood available on site. Please note there are no ovens, so meals are best planned around the hob or BBQ.

Woodfired Hot Tub

Wood-fired and wholly private, the hot tub sits out under the open sky. Light it in the afternoon and sink in as the valley turns gold and the stars come out.

No chlorine, no neighbours — just steam, silence and the High Weald all around you.

Open-Fire Evenings

Every retreat has its own fire pit, made for long evenings under the stars. We leave you kindling, firelighters and a starter bag of logs to get you going.

Gather round, toast something, and let the conversation run late — extra seasoned firewood is available on site.

What Not to Bring

BuckleBridge Farm runs entirely on our own solar farm. To protect the site's battery system, please leave high-power electrical items at home:

  • Electric heaters
  • Air fryers
  • Portable cooking appliances
  • High-performance gaming computers

Hair dryers and straighteners are fine for short bursts, ideally in daylight when solar generation is highest. We're unable to offer EV charging on site.

This is a peaceful family site, so please leave the raves at home too: all music off by 10:30pm and noise kept low afterwards. A crackling fire and birdsong make a far better soundtrack than any speaker.
